  Description: Case intake is performed through a combination of telephone (Legal Advice Helpline), legal clinics, and walk-in applications (emergencies). Potential clients must complete an financial intake application and comply with LSC requirements as citizens or legal alien status. Applications are reviewed by the Managing Attorney and assigned to staff for extended services or clients are sent a written rejection notice, an advice only letter, a request for more information or are contacted for an appointment. Callers to the Legal Helpline are immediately qualified and speak with an attorney. Signatures on intake documents for Helpline clients are not required for these clients unless extended services are provided. Other Intake opportunities: Daytona Beach Clinic - every Wednesday and Friday of the month - call for appointment (386) 255-6573. Deland Clinic - every 2nd and 4th Tuesday- call for appointment (386) 255-6573 x2425. Low Income Taxpayer Clinic- call for appointment (386) 255-6573. Telephone Legal Advice Helpline - Mon. and Tues - 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. -(800) 363-2357.
