   Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) (Separate Website)
The EARNED INCOME TAX CREDIT (EITC) is a special tax benefit for people who work full-or part-time. If you qualify, you?ll owe less in taxes and you may get cash back. Even if you don?t owe income tax, you could get the EITC. But you must file a tax return. Even workers who aren?t raising children can get the EITC.

The Child Tax Credit is a tax benefit for people with low or moderate incomes with one or more children. When you file a tax return, the Child Tax Credit could reduce your tax and if you qualify for the Additional Child Tax Credit, you can get a refund!
