About Us

FloridaLawHelp.org is your source for free and reliable resources about your legal rights, the law, courts, and legal forms.  This site also includes information about organizations that provide free or low cost legal help to low and moderate income Floridians.

FloridaLawHelp.org started in 2002 as the statewide legal aid website Florida from a TIG grant through Legal Services of North Florida.  Beginning in 2015, the Florida Justice Technology Center (FJTC), began administering the website.  FJTC is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to increasing access to justice through the innovative use of technology. Many of the original resources on the website were created by Legal Services offices throughout Florida using grants awarded by the Legal Services Corporation and TIG grants. Additional resources are created and maintained by FJTC staff.

The Florida Bar Foundation provides funds for maintence and continued improvement of FloridaLawHelp.org. Legal Services offices and advocates throughout the state support the site by creating and editing resources and providing valuable expertise and insight.
