What Dade Legal Aid does:

Since 1949, Dade Legal Aid has been serving the unmet legal needs of low-income residents of Miami-Dade County.  Each year, Dade Legal Aid provides comprehensive legal services to over 5,000 clients helping to bridge the justice gap for the neediest members of society. 

Put Something Back is the official pro bono program of the circuit.  Put Something Back connects pre-screened clients with dedicated individual volunteers, law school clinics, law firms, disaster recovery programs and a network of community based partners to better serve diverse populations in need.

Income and other eligibility:

To be eligible, your income must not be more than 125-150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. An organization may qualify for free services if its purpose is to serve eligible clients or is primarily comprised of eligible clients. Dade Legal Aid works with multiple service providers in the community to provide a safety net of services in all areas of civil law.  The agency offers appropriate auxiliary aids and services at no cost to deaf or hard of hearing clients and companions.  All clients are asked to please bring all relevant documents, identification and proof of income with you to our office.
